Maud Laforest is a young talented musician. She was a student of Manuel Barrueco at the Peabody Institute. She holds a Bachelor and a Masters of Guitar Performance. She has won numerous prizes in International Competitions including the 2005 Guitar Foundation of America, The Mottola International Guitar Competition, and the Arhanes International Guitar Competition. The youngest performer ever selected by the Dallas Classical Guitar Society, Maud impresses audiences by a great musicality supported by a flawless technique. She performs in solo, and also in duo with Benjamin Beirs (Duo Transatlantique). |
